ARTWORK GUIDE
File Requirements
You've done the hard work — now make sure your file is set up correctly so it prints exactly the way you intended.
✅ What to Do
PNG, PDF or TIFF Format
All three formats are accepted. PNG with transparent background is preferred, but PDF and TIFF work great for fully laid-out gang sheets from Illustrator or Photoshop.
300 DPI at Print Size
Set your resolution to 300 DPI at the actual size you want it printed. This gives you sharp, crisp results on the final transfer.
RGB or CMYK Colour Mode
Both RGB and CMYK colour modes are accepted. We calibrate our printer to reproduce colours as accurately as possible.
Set Canvas to 41cm Wide
Your gang sheet must be exactly 41cm wide. Set the height to your desired sheet length (e.g. 100cm for 1 metre). Everything outside 41cm width will be cropped.
⚠️ What to Avoid
Low Resolution Files
Files below 150 DPI will print pixelated and blurry. If you're unsure, upload your file and we'll flag any resolution issues before printing.
White Backgrounds
A white background will print as a white block on your garment. Use a transparent (checkered) background in your design file instead.
Upscaled or Stretched Files
Resizing a small file to a large one doesn't add detail — it just makes it blurry. Always start with a high-res original.
Screenshots or Social Media Images
Screen-grabbed images are typically 72–96 DPI and won't print cleanly. Always use original artwork files.
💡 Not Sure About Your Files?
Upload them anyway — we check every order before it goes to print. If there's an issue with your artwork we'll contact you before printing anything. We never print something we know won't look good.
